A sense of urgency dominates the pages of this colorful book as the animals rush to apparent safety. Why? Wolf’s coming! My guys liked reading this over and over, even after the initial suspense was resolved. Kulka gives older readers clues to the final resolution in the pictures on each page, though I would say readers 5+ would not find it appealing a second time once the end is known. Isn’t that the way a good mystery/thriller works for us, too?
